Hi All, In or out of school, what is your favorite subject? My three are English, French and Chorus, because they all kind of involve creativity and stuff.

Well it's been a long time since I've been in school, but my favorite subject was reading. I loved reading the short stories, though I hated the discussions and questions to follow, but guess that was just the price I payed for getting to read good stories.

Well in school I love my Spanish class and last year any of my music or lit classes were awesome!! I do a lot of independent study of languages though, and music, and science stuff. I love science, like astronomy, as long as you don't have to memorize crazy long formulas!!

My faves are English, History, music, and religion since I go to Catholic school. I hate math and science except for Bio which wasn't that bad.

When I was in High school, my favorite classes were music vocal, sociology, global history, and english. In university, it was all of my communications courses plus english :)

In college: Political Science was my favorite subject. They only had 3 Poly Sci classes offered and I only needed 6 credits to exit and apply to the university so... I took intro to poly sci, and advanced american government. English was also my second favorite as the instructors in both subjects worked with me above and beyond the call of duty. I mean they even took the time out during their breaks to help me. And they always looked forward to my lengthy comentary at the end of their end of semester professor evals.

Yeah, teachers that go above and beyond to help and listen and just be there are great, in my opinion. And the better the teacher, the easier the subject is, in a sense, to bear. Caitlin

Melmel, you can't like Math, it's against the law! lol jkjk xoxoxooxx. Yeah it used to be just Derek and I in Resource, and Jenn, when she was in school with us, but she was a grade ahead, so last year it was just me and D, but this year we got put in a class with other Resource doobs so it's different, but I enjoy it still. And yeah Health is cool ehhehee. Very easy!

I like math. My fav subjects in school were economics, math, physics and English. We had an awesome math/physics teacher who got me interested and economics I've always loved. Also computer science, I was always drawn to the idea of making something useful out of a couple of words and some logic. Math is so fundamental to the universe it's impossible not to feel intreagued by it, I think. Outside of school, music definitely, I took a few music classes to keep my GPA up, they wre easy, but I had 8 years of private eduction so it wasn't really fair to the rest of the class I guess .
But, hey, math is cool, physics is even cooler, go nerdy's one of these days the world will be ours, or at least we'll be understand what makes the world go around .. well, we do .. sort of
cheers

Well, it seems a long time since I was at cchool but in fact it's only been four and a half years. My favourite subjects were undoubtedly French, Latin, history and politics, partly because I was good at them but partly also because the teaching was excellent and I had the chance to read a lot of literature, engage in a lot of discussion and study issues that were of great interest to me. AS well as that I was keen on German, and always liked PE when we were playing cricket! Law and French were obviously the two subjects of my degree, but I really would love to do either a part-time classics or history degree some time in the future because I still find both of these subjects fascinating. My least favourite subject was maths, and I wasn't really a scientist either.

I also appear to have missed the S out of school in my last post. That notwithstanding, i was still pretty good at English and English literature.

Woot NetGirl ahahah! LL, I coulda guessed that. And Wilde, how can you like both Math and English? That's practically an oxymoron! Ahaha! Caitlin

English and History would be my two very favorites.

That's an odd combination, but original, english and math is.

Post 22 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 15-Feb-2008 11:05:37

My favorite subject was food technology. We didn't do much cooking though. I found maths very boring, but Science and French were good.

I like psychology and composition, even though writing research papers, and making sure the header on the first page is formatted correctly is a pain in the arse.

Since I am still in school, I like english, choir, and definitely computers! I'm not taking that class though. Grrr! I took a class last year that involved computers; I learned excel, Microsoft Access, and Front Page. I hate Front Page! I'm eventually going to create a website doing HTML. After that, I'm going to find a free web hosting service.
